Music Team & Choir
Music is a powerful way we can connect with God and each other! We strive to include a variety of music in worship, including contemporary music, hymns, Taize, Gospel, and global worship songs. Our music team is led by Kenneth Hoversten, our music director, and features student vocalists, instrumentalists, and audio/visual technicians from the Pres House community.
Though our Music Team plays during our Sunday worship gathering, there are no religious requirements or expectations for Music Team members. All you need is a passion for making music with others and a willingness to grow as a musician! ***If you’re interested in audio/visual tech, we will train you; no experience required!
All UW-Madison students (undergraduate and graduate) are welcome to join the team. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 pm during the semester; the team also meets for sound-check and a brief second rehearsal before worship on Sunday from 3 – 4 pm.

The Pres House Choir
Our choir meets for rehearsal on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and sings in worship on the fourth Sunday of each month. The choir is open to all students who would like to participate, regardless of experience. Kenneth, our music director, has extensive experience as a vocalist and director and even studied music at UW-Madison!
