“Know Your Neighbor” Dinners

Summer Dates: May 27, June 17, July 8, August 12

6:00 - 7:30 pm, Pres House Basement (Lower Hall)

One of our goals at Pres House is to help students develop healthy relationships with others, especially those who are different from themselves. In a time of increasing division and polarization, we believe getting to know our neighbors is an act of hope — and one of the best ways to do that is by sharing a meal. That’s why we started Know Your Neighbor dinners!

Every Know Your Neighbor dinner has three components:

  1. A tasty, home-made meal that has been thoughtfully prepared by our chef (dietary restrictions are accommodated)
  2. A deck of prompts to spark meaningful conversation
  3. A brief shared clean-up as a practice of community care

And that’s it! There is no other agenda, no bait-and-switch, just sharing a meal with people who may be strangers at the beginning, and hopefully neighbors by the end. We hope you’ll join us in building connections across our campus community!
