“It is not a structure that makes a place a home, it is the people and the memories inside it.”
In the fall of 2014 Pres House celebrated the many generations who have lingered inside our walls and found love, friendship, faith, and community. We gave special thanks for the rebirth of ministry that has occurred in the last 10 years by God’s grace and through the efforts of the Board of Directors, volunteers, donors, alumni, students and Pastors Mark and Erica. (Check out the story of the last decade in our latest annual report.) If you missed the event or want to re-live parts of it please enjoy the links and videos on this page.
Video shared at the November 1 Celebration featuring the stories of 20 students, alumni, board members, and pastors:
The Pres House story began over a hundred years ago, but in 2014 we are celebrating ten years of a vibrant new Presbyterian worshipping community, right in the heart of the UW Madison campus. We celebrate what God has done in the past ten years, and look forward to what God has in store in the years to come!
Special thanks to Barry Sherbeck for creating this video and the one below!
Video shared at the October 24 Homecoming event featuring the love story of Walter and Karen Pridham which all started at Pres House:
Walter and Karen Pridham share their Pres House love story, over 60 years in the making. They met and married at Pres House in 1952, and since then have been members, elders, donors, and enthusiastic advocates of this special place, a home in the heart of the UW Madison campus.
