Pres House is hosting a retreat for high school students on February 17-18, 2012! The retreat gives high school students a chance to see the UW campus and to learn about campus ministry and being a Christian in college. The retreat will be geared towards high school juniors and seniors, but all high school students are welcome to attend. Students will stay at Pres House, located in the heart of the UW campus near State St.
Students will be able to sample college life through:
§ A panel of college students
§ A campus tour by an official UW campus tour guide
§ Lunch on State St. or campus
§ Fun activity on campus (ex. Sledding on trays down the Liz Water Hill or bowling at the Union South)
Additionally, the retreat will expose students to the campus ministry at Pres House and include time for a short devotional.
The cost of the retreat is $10 per person and covers dinner and breakfast. Students will need to bring money for lunch on Saturday.
Churches should send an appropriate number of chaperones for the number of students attending and each church sending a student should send at least one chaperon.
